I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, perfect for a quiet retreat. However, they could use a bit of updating. The service was exceptional, with a very customer-focused and friendly staff. The location was convenient and close to the university, but signage could be improved for easier access. The dining options were satisfactory but not exceptional.

8.0/10

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of free weights and a quality cable machine in the fitness center. However, I did encounter some issues with insect bites after the second night. The service was top-notch, very accommodating, and they even remembered my name every time. The location was superb, especially for visiting Auburn University. On the downside, the dining experience was not as impressive as expected, and the facilities were just average.

My stay at The Hoitel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though clean and comfortable, had some noise issues making it less than ideal for relaxation. The service, on the other hand, was top-notch with incredibly friendly and informative staff. The location, despite being central, lacked proper signage and felt a bit rundown at times. The dining options were good, but the cost for breakfast could be a concern for families. Overall, a decent value for money considering the amenities available.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, there was a recurring noise every 15 minutes for about 20 seconds which was quite bothersome.
Service

I must say, the service at The Hoitel was among the friendliest I have ever encountered. From the front desk to the cleaning team, everyone was nice and eager to help. They were also very informative about the facilities available.
Location

The hotel's location in Knoxville, Tennessee, had its ups and downs. While it was central to conveniences like food shopping and had easy access to the campus, the lack of proper signage made it a bit challenging to find. Additionally, the area felt a bit rundown and chaotic in the evenings.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience at The Hoitel was good overall. The breakfast, though not included for all guests, was better than average with a variety of options, but the pricing could be a concern for families.
Facilities

The hotel offered a range of facilities including dry cleaning, shops, and laundry services. However, there were some minor issues with the cleanliness of the breakfast area that made it difficult to find a clean table.

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite some water damage near the glass window, were spacious and had a comfortable sitting area with two TVs. However, the noise issue every 15 minutes was quite bothersome. The location was very convenient, near Auburn University, but the dining offerings were overpriced. The service was satisfactory and the facilities were well-maintained.
